Spacee's new Deming shelf-mounted robots feature live video feed capabilities so that retail managers can virtually see shelves and get real-time inventory data updates remotely. This virtual walkthrough feature helps to bridge a gap that Spacee identified "between what data retailers can collect in their e-commerce operations and what they can get from physical stores."

After installation (which only requires one tool and about 30 minutes per aisle,) the unobtrusive Deming robots are made to roam across shelves and capture inventory data, condensing the time it would take a staff member or a floor robot to perform the same task.
