Decorating with Hints of Red

All-White Contemporary Home Made Playful with Color

Australian architect Sharon Fraser’s ultra-contemporary home in Byron Bay is nearly all white. To keep the starkness of the modern design from appearing too severe, she has punctuated both the interior and exterior with shots of red.

The funky red rabbit sculpture in the yard by Peter McLisky can be seen in many of the images, peaking in the expansive glass windows and watching over the swimming pool.

Other hits of crimson include a rubber ducky resting in the bathroom window, red cushions and a single wall in what appears to be a child’s room.

The fantastic photography of Sharons’s home was shot by Richard Powers.
