MTV's TRL Canceled

MTV used to stand for Music Television, and Total Request Live (TRL) was the music countdown program that launched a thousand careers. Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears and N'Sync all got a big boost when they appeared on TRL, but now, TRL is no more. It's canceled.

The Executive Producer said it was time to move MTV to a different direction.

The final show will be a two hour special on Saturday in November.
