Artistic Object Typography

The '36 Days of Type' Project Makes a New Letter Out of Random Items

The '36 Days of Type' is a project put together with a collective group of designers that encourages each creative to design their own letter using a random assortment of objects. Each letter and number is specific to the artist's own style as each creative is given full range to create a design suited to them.

Each of the letters are made using an array of items from food products to fabrics and daily objects such as office supplies that render each letter entirely unique to the next. The project is a creative use of common objects and transforming them into letters that take inspiration from the items themselves. For example, the 'P' letter is constructed out of a wooden popsicle stick and an ice pop.
