But no matter my interpretation of its formal inspiration and semblance, the Czech Lap Plate introduces an intriguing topography, creating three somewhat separate compartments for the placement of food. The piece acts as a great sort of fruit bowl, but also the perfect platter for the arrangement of different dishes within a meal.
