Cyclemon is a series of illustrations that categorize riders personality traits based on the type of bike they choose to ride. Thomas Romain and Bourdieux Pomarelle teamed up to work on this project and have done an excellent job with the pictures as well as the video.
From hipsters to gangsters there's something for everyone. Even the declaration that those burning rubber on their stationary bikes are "fakes." Taking one look at the cyclists on the streets will show that the stereotypes are fairly facetious. Even grandpas and gangsters can ride a fixed gear bike these days. Jokes aside, this was a great way to show expression within the cycling culture and really help get more attention to it. With the focus on eco-friendly alternatives, cycling is a great way to aid in the cause. Check out the Cyclemon website for more information about the project.
