New York’s Cuts & Slices Pizzeria Finds Its Way Onto the Forum Hi

adidas’ newest Forum Hi silhouette takes inspiration from New York’s Cuts & Slices pizzeria. The footwear and athletics giant previously released a sneaker silhouette that pays homage to Shanghai’s Yanwai Restaurant and has now traveled to the Big Apple to celebrate the Trinidadian pizzeria. Cuts & Slices was founded by Randy Mclaren, who also runs a sneaker business called Mclaren Kicks, and is famous for its Jerk Shrimp and Curried Oxtail pizzas.

The sneakers, which come dressed in shades of white, maroon, red, and cream, feature the parlor’s address printed on the collars. Fuzzy suede heel tabs and pizzeria logos add a fresh look to the style, and are rounded out by cream midsoles and brown outsoles. Cuts & Slices’ logo is printed on the red hangtag attached to the collars. The adidas Forum ‘84 Hi ‘Cuts & Slices’ will be available online and at select retailers on October 4, 2022. A special pre-release block party will be held on Sep 24, 2022, giving consumers an early opportunity to score these shoes.
