It would probably take some convincing to get me to sit in the Cut Chair. The Cut Chair is a unique piece of semi-floating furniture designed by Peter Bristol. Three of its legs have been cut in half, leading you to wonder just how the heck this chair stands up?!
The answer is actually quite simple. The Cut Chair is stabilized by a steel plate conveniently hidden under its accompanying rug. Normally, I am not a fan of being duped, but I can make an exception for Bristol's Cut Chair. I really like how he has spiced up the boring old design that is the common wooden chair. I'd like to see Peter Bristol take things a step further and design an entire dining room set featuring the cut design. Imagine the zaniness!
