Bench-Like Display Cabinets

Curiosity by Twodesigners Quirkily Hides and Exposes Objects

Curiosity by Twodesigners, a Belgium-based studio founded by Jonathan Honvoh and Rodrigue Strouwen, may be a piece of furniture designed to put precious objects on display, but it looks nothing like the cabinets of curiosities it has been named after. In place of the standard cupboard design with glass doors, this creation looks more like a bench with added quirky details.

Resting low to the ground, Curiosity by Twodesigners boasts a built-in metal container, upholstered panels, tray-like table and even a glass display. According to the creators, it was "designed to respond to a constantly changing interior design, this central island allows you to define areas of habitat without losing the feeling of freedom and convenience offered by the open spaces." Exposed or hidden, objects can be displayed in various ways.
