Medical Discovery in Mice Could Lead to Cure for Multiple Sclerosis

A Doctor at McGill University in Montreal believes that he could have the cure for Multiple Sclerosis (MS) after an experimental treatment cured mice of a similar disease.  This is a great discovery if it can be transferred to humans as there is no cure for MS, a deadly and debilitating disease.

The treatment was remarkably effective in curing MS and had virtually no negative side effects. If it is successful in human trials, then hopefully this new method can be expanded to treat other autoimmune disorders that have previously been untreatable.

One prominent name in the fight against MS is Muhammad Ali, who is best known for his boxing career but has fought MS starting later in life.
