Culinary Church Conversions

The White Rabbit Restaurant

Takenouchi and Webb, architects from Indonesia, remodeled a historic building that used to house a church, and have turned into a restaurant called The White Rabbit.

Although this may sound a bit outlandish, I have heard of stranger things being done with vacated houses of worship.

If anything, blessing your food before digging into it will have a completely different meaning for believers.

Implications - The White Rabbit restaurant kept true to the church's design. Keeping the beautifully stained window panes and arches, the White Rabbit is holy indeed. The eatery plays off the open concept of the cathedral effortlessly and managed to meld a fresh, clean design with the religious figures.
