Austrian Post Created a Limited-Edition Crypto Stamp

Crypto Stamp 3.0 is a limited-edition item from Austrian Post that holds value in the physical world and the digital one. The physical stamp is embedded with an NFC chip so that users can authenticate their purchase, and the stamp also comes in a blockchain-enabled digital form.

While Crypto stamp 1.0 was issued in 2019, Crypto stamp 2.0 came out last summer and Österreichische Post AG is now introducing the third iteration, continuing to set itself apart as "the first postal company to introduce a stamp that can be used for postage purposes but is also saved as a digital image within the blockchain."

With the QR code that's printed on every Crypto Stamp, users can scan it or manually enter the code.
