Bone-Infused Guitars

Bruce Mahalski Has Designed This Guitar with Crushed Bones

For those curious about playing on a guitar made up of crushed bones from animals, look no further than this guitar designed by aritst Bruce Mahalski. This handmade piece is made up of animal skeletons from at least two dozen different animals.

Mahalski is known for his Bone Pistol design which follows the same theme as the guitar. The actual bones are made up of animal skulls, but mainly cow ribs and bird bones. Mahalski mentions these bones include hedgehog, stoat, weasel, rabbit, rat, hawk, gull, possum, duck, pig, dog and many others. The guitar's front and sides are covered in layers of these textured bones, which run up and down the guitar's back as well. The guitar is fully playable but isn't intended for everyday use.
