Elevated Outdoor Meeting Spaces

Microsoft's 'Crow's Nest' Serves as a Unique Meeting Room

Reconnecting with nature is a proven way to recharge one's creative energy, which is why Microsoft has built a variety of outdoor meeting places, namely, an elevated treehouse called the 'Crow's Nest.'

The treehouse sits twelve feet above the ground and features a round sky light, charred-wood walls and a hand-curved door which opens when one presents an employee key card. The Crow's Nest was made to complement the surrounding nature, growing and expanding with the trees, in order to last for an estimated 20 years.

Microsoft states that the new work spaces aim to improve an employee's creativity, focus and happiness, and it hopes that the beautiful spaces will provide inspiration that will lead to new ways of thinking.
