Makeshift Society is Encouraging Imagination with Its Creative Clubs

The Makeshift Society is a San Francisco-based creative club house that’s branching out to Brooklyn with a Kickstarter campaign. The premise behind the club is to offer a space where dynamic minds in all different fields (primarily photography, writing, architecture and design) can meet, foster and nourish their creativity with other like-minded individuals.

The original San Francisco location currently has a steady 300 members; a number which is steadily increasing. The team behind Makeshift Society wants to recreate the success in a Williamsburg location. The project currently has nearly $5,000 in donations, and hopes to hit $30, 000 by October 31st. If you’re a creative professional living in the city, or have enough spending money to support creative professionals in the city, definitely check out this Kickstarter campaign and donate!
