Double-Walled Wine Bottles

The Cooleo Bottle Ensures Wine Stay Cool Without a Cooler

Known as the Cooleo bottle, this double-layer wine bottle is the first of its kind and is designed to keep wine cold without the need of a cooler. Recently adopted by German winery Wasem, which ordered 6,000 bottles, this innovative wine bottle is constructed of Borosilicate glass and is sealed in a glass Vinolok closure. The use of Borosilicate glass grants the Cooleo bottle "outstanding clarity and scratch-resistant durability," while the Vinolok closure ensures that the bottle can be upcycled and reused.

According to Cooleo bottle designer Oliver Conrad, "Our intention was to create a concept that combines traditional glassblowing with elegant, modern design." This blend of techniques resulted in an incredibly functional bottle that, according to tests, stays cooler longer than a normal bottle when simply chilled in a fridge.
