Banned Controversial Clothing Commercials

Bar Refaeli's Hoodie Commercial Sparks Controversy

Israeli clothing company Hoodies has released its latest summer collection, with the aid of supermodel Bar Rafaeli, in its controversial sensual brand commercials.

A country that is renowned for its progressive gender politics and embrace of female sexuality has apparently drawn the line when it comes to this ad.The Second Authority for Television and Radio reviewed the 54-second spot and concluded it has "too many sexual insinuations," banning it from airing before 10 p.m.

The commercial features Bar Refaeli as the object of puppet Red Orbach's sexual fantasies. Throughout the commerical, they are featured in a multitude of "Bar-themed" settings, including the "InstaBar" where they take sensual photos, and the "Bar Wash" which needless to say is inevitably provocative.

The stunning Israeli supermodel is now the subject of controversy and criticism for partaking in this commercial that brings several sensual insinuations together with one of Israeli's most popular clothing brands.
