Dubbed the ‘Sling Lounge Chair,’ the striking piece is alluring with its subtle minimalism yet strikingly chic silhouette. The furniture was designed for the Danish furniture company Takt.
The ultra-chic contemporary lounge chair is constructed out of high-quality FSC-certified oak. Sam Hecht and Kim Colin took the opportunity here to develop a new take on traditional, timeless silhouettes of seating in this category. Takt elaborated on the designers’ vision with Dezeen: "The design solution creates a genuinely new type of chair, an altogether different – but comfortably recognizable – typology suited to the reality of modern living."
