Container Stores

Uniqlo Drops Stores in NYC

If you don't have a store location, why not just drop a big box of cargo and call it a store? A Japanese store, Uniqlo, will be opening the first 'Container Stores' in NYC this Labor Day weekend.

"As a precursor to the October opening of Uniqlo's 36,000-sq.-ft. flagship in SoHo, the container stores will operate every weekend until the flagship opens. The exterior of the container stores is made from corrugated metal, while the inside is fitted with shelves." - Dave Pinter on PSFK
