This Elegant and Curvy Chair Looks Like a Draped Fabric

Designer Constance Guisset is known for his curvy, elegant and minimalist furniture designs. His latest offering is the Drapee Chair, created for design company Petite Friture.

The Drapee Chair is a stackable chair constructed out of simple steel rods. Unlike regular chairs made with steel rods, this one features rods that flow from the top of the chair to one side at the bottom, before curving around and extending out to form the legs of the chair. This curving rod effect makes the chair look like a fabric that has been draped on a piece of furniture.

Despite this intricate curved design, the chairs are stackable as well as lightweight, and so can be easily stacked and stashed away when not in use.
