The Considered Curtain Rod is a Pre-Marked Customizable Stick

Since wooden items like the Considered Curtain Rod cannot be manufactured with telescopic adjustability like the poles made from metal, the designer recognized that the consumer may have to cut this product short. Dixon Branded designed a 44-inch timber stick that can be reduced in length after purchase in order to accommodate one's particular window dimensions.

In order to make this task easier, John Dixon made markings on the hard maple that indicate its span. About halfway along the bar, dashes and numbers begin to mark quite tiny units of measurement so that you don't have to pull out your tape measure and your pencil. The playful meter stick design of the Considered Curtain Rod makes redecorating fun and efficient and it whimsically references the modern DIY movement.
