Wearable New York Art Series

Sneakersnstuff's 'Connections' Features the Work of Shaniqwa Jarvis

Sneakersnstuff called upon photographer Shaniqwa Jarvis to collaboratively crafting the brand's first artist series entitled 'Connections.' The project is based in New York City and it is comprised of a total of 22 black and white images of the city's diverse youth communities. Jarvis worked alongside journalist and cultural anthropologist Mordechai Rubinstein to capture the shots as well.

The Collections project initiated Sneakersnstuff to craft two limited-edition products in collaboration with Jarvis to celebrate the exhibition. It includes a throw blanket and a hoodie that boast an image from Jarvis' photographic series; the image used from the Connections exhibition was taken on the C train in New York City in the late 90s.

The exclusive products are available for purchase on the Sneakersnstuff website and in the New York City store. The exhibition will be showcased until the end of February.
