This High-Tech Champagne Can Trigger Audio & Visual Effects

GH Mumm collaborated with musician Mark Ronson and unveiled a tech-connected Champagne bottle at the 2015 Monaco Grand Prix that is deigned to elevate celebratory experiences.

The tech-connected Champagne bottle was connected to the audio and visual aids at the Grand Prix through the cork. The cork contained an RFID chip. When the bottle was popped the chip sent a signal to the audio-visual equipment that triggered pre-programmed sounds and visuals.

The chip works with any audio and visual equipment and can be customized to each event. This creative bottle can trigger a spotlight, a disco ball or start your favorite track with a pop of the cork. Mumm has been a sponsor for the Grand Prix for fifteen years and was recently inspired by the "thrill and emotion" theme of Formula One, which resulted in the creation of this bottle.
