ZATARA is a collection of concrete coffee tables that happens to embrace more than one material. An experimentation between stainless and lacquered steel, driftwood and, of course, cement, the designs are both raw and industrial. Although the lines appear perfect, the designs rely on a flaw-filled ethos that focuses on the beauty of nature and naturalness.
Designed by Catherine Op de Beeck, the concrete coffee tables may work best in modern spaces, but are also great for traditional homes as well. The designer states that "good design defends itself by being natural. I like an object to be well designed and beautiful, it has to say something. The furniture of Zatara is a mix of functional and practical thinking with central focus on the pure lines and the driftwood touch."
