Simplified Industrial Seating

Composite Stool Has a Minimalist Assembly with Marvelous Personality

Your first impression of the Composite Stool might gather that the lovely little seating object is rather minimalist. Take another look, however, and you'll discover some delightful details that express the creativity and care of designer Andrew Cassels.

The beautiful backless chairs are masterly made in a garage, with every piece of timber sawed to perfect proportions into pairs of joined legs. The seats are plasma-cut from steel of 4 millimeters in thickness, which is then gently bent on two sides to prepare for the attachment of the wooden supports. These are connected about an inch below the folds of metal to give the industrial tops an incredibly lightweight look. The Composite Stools are powder coated and given cool modern colors like black and blue.
