This compact holiday home is located an hour east of Toronto and it enjoys a distraction-free natural landscape that offers refuge from busy city life. The two-storey abode was conceived by Vancouver-based firm Scott Posno Design. Dubbed 'The Farm,' home has an exterior that's minimal enough so as to not interfere with the lush and protected forest. For the aesthetic development of the compact holiday home, Scott Posno Design drew inspiration from traditional Iroquois longhouses and distributed the floor plan of the structure over several structures on a space of 65 acres.
Although the exterior of the compact holiday home embraces indigenous architecture, the inside offers a subtle contrast with a polished and modern ambiance.
