Comodule Launched the 'Guardian' GPS Attachment for E-Bikes

Comodule is offering a new affordable GPS chip for e-bikes and micro-mobility devices. The chip is described by Comodule as an "entry-level IoT system that fits all e-bikes and focuses on vehicle security." The two priorities when creating the Guardian were interoperability and reliability. As a result, the Comodule Guardian can be quickly integrated into any popular e-bike design, elevating the connectedness and safety of the e-bike.

Two primary applications of the Comodule Guardian are theft prevention and vehicle location. The compact IoT device can connect to an e-bike motor, allowing it to remotely lock, or unlock, the ability to drive the bike via the connected mobile application. On top of this, the Guardian is equipped with its own 4G Cat-M1 with 2G fallback network connection and a long-lasting battery that ensures it is always powered, even if the bike's battery is depleted.
