Casual Color-Blocking

Colour Me Beautiful for Fashion Gone Rogue is a Laid-Back Spring Shoot

We've seen color-blocked fashion in nearly every Spring/Summer 2011 collection, and Colour Me Beautiful for Fashion Gone Rogue shows a laid-back form of this styling theme. Photographer Georgie Wileman and stylist Mara Palena combined creative forces for the pictorial, which stars models Stacey Grant and Adeele Rassel.

Color-blocked styles from Jil Sander, Topshop and Zara appear throughout the spring editorial, from three-quarter length shift dresses to dresses, T-shirts and sheer wide-legged pants. My favorite shot is the one in which the model wears a slightly sheer tangerine dress with peacock blue leggings.

Color Me Beautiful also featured the talents of photographer's assistant Piera Catalano, stylist's assistant Francesca Zanetti, makeup artist Miyuki Ishizuka, hair stylist Michi Yoshida and retoucher Ana Paula Grimaldi.
