This Quirky Cartoon Shows What Happens When Certain Colors are Mixed

Animator Fernán Graziano and Buenos Aires-based studio Ronda created this unique cartoon video which depicts three ways simplified colors are combined to create new colors. The animated video follows three stories that use colorful stick people.

The simplified color video, titled ‘CMYK’ tells the stories of "Mr. Yellow Meets Mr. Cyan, Mr. Magenta Eats an Apple and Mr. Cyan Forgot His Umbrella." Each playful story takes the viewer through the notions of what happens when specific colors combine. For example, when Mr. Magenta eats a yellow apple he releases a red-colored gas cloud.

This adorable 60 second film is a useful tool to help children learn what happens when certain colors are combined. In addition it also poses as a cheerful video that simplifies the process for designers and artists as well.
