Modern Co-Living Spaces

PriestmanGoode is Working on the Design of Co-Living Spaces in India

Olive is a project by the real-estate company Embassy Group and it is expected to bring useful co-living spaces in India. Upon launch, it is planned that the venture will deliver 15,000 beds to the Bangalore region, following up with 2,500 beds in Pune and Chennai. This project is undertaken to address the decline of affordable housing in the country, especially for students and young professionals, who make up "the largest demographic."

The firm has unveiled the proposed aesthetic and the atmosphere answers to contemporary sensibilities, the furniture is minimalist, and the arrangement is designed "to encourage a sense of community [in the common spaces."
