Trapped Taxidermy Ads

The Coleman Campaign Warns People to Not Get Stuck Indoors

A person can sometimes feel like a fixture on the wall when trapped inside all day, as the Coleman campaign illustrates. In place of a person, however, this ad campaign cleverly uses the analogy of a live wild animal turned into a taxidermy trophy. The images powerfully show how stagnant someone's life can become if they never enjoy what nature has to offer.

Conceived by the Miami Ad School Minneapolis, the Coleman campaign was art directed by Katie Lang and Brit Ryan. The otherwise beautiful illustrations have a subdued palette that highlight the gravity of the situation these three animals have found themselves in. Paired with the tagline, "Don't get stuck indoors," it urges people to head outdoors immediately.
