Verbal Vending Machines

Elise Ho Discovers an Interactive Coffee Dispenser with a Sense of Humor

Leo Burnett decided to give a regular coffee dispenser a complete makeover in the UK.

To promote the brand Kenco Millicano, Leo Burnett came up with the idea of Kenneth the talking vending machine, who gave out free coffee to passersby. However, in order to receive their free hot beverage, individuals had to listen to the commands of Kenneth. Certain requests included standing on one foot, yelling profusely and giving him a hug. For a free drink, these demands were not too high.

Elise Ho discusses the interesting coffee dispenser in her Trend Hunter interview. She also defines cool as anything that is weird and unusual.
