A recent excursion on November 29th showcased a rare temperature inversion of fog landscape photography over the Grand Canyon. This was a once in a lifetime event that occurred where photographers were able to capture this majestic moment. This cloud formation happens very rarely almost every 10 years with clear skies above the canyon nearly full to the brim with fog.
These clouds begin to form where cool air begins to rise from the bottom of the canyon and meets warm air above creating low level clouds. As a historical moment, many photographers captured every moment to share this breathtaking view.
