Cloud Terrace by Andy Cao and Xavier Perrot is Enchanting

If overcast days revolved around anything like the Cloud Terrace installation, people wouldn't get so cranky over these natural and unavoidable occurrences. In place of big, wet raindrops, the Cloud Terrace installation is made up of 10,000 Swarovski crystals, which have been strung on expertly manipulated chicken wire.

Created by landscape artists Andy Cao and Xavier Perrot of CaolPerrot Studio in collaboration with JP Paull of Bodega Architects, the Cloud Terrace installation was erected at Dumbarton Oaks, a Harvard University institute in Washington, D.C., that supports garden design and landscape architecture. Hovering delicately over an oval pool by way of strategically placed poles, the Cloud Terrace installation casts a gorgeous and colorful reflection that makes it easy to appreciate its beauty even more.

The Cloud Terrace installation has a magical and ethereal presence.
