The Conceptual 'Clofan' by Yongha Yang Opens and Closes Automatically

Using a cooling fan in the summer months often means having to clean it regularly, which is something the conceptual 'Clofan' is designed to help with.

Designed by Yongha Yang, the minimalist floor fan works by automatically opening and closing a series of shutters on the front when the unit is in use or not. This helps to reduce the amount of dust and pet fur that can make it's way into the fan and thus greatly reduce the consistency of cleanings required.

The conceptual 'Clofan' is imagined in two color options and features an intuitive user interface to help make activating it or turning it off very easy. The unit also keeps aesthetics in mind by having it disappear when not in use.
