These Clever Bird Houses are Turning the World into a Google Map

Shu-Cchun Hsiao has created clever bird houses that are more than just functional art pieces, they are a potential movement. Each birdhouse has been created to resemble the little location marker found on Google Maps. By placing the birdhouses throughout the streets, forests and neighborhoods, Hsiao is transforming the world into a Google Map.

The sporadic placing of the bird houses is also very beneficial as they provide sheltered homes for these lovable avian creatures. Hopefully, the next time Google drives around with its cameras, it captures these clever bird houses as it would be amusingly ironic. It might even be confusing for those trying to get directions. Either way, it is a fun concept that I'll be keeping my eye out for on commutes to and from work.
