Armored Fresh launched a new clean-label protein dubbed ‘PIILK’, a drink designed to simplify protein consumption with a minimal ingredient approach.
PIILK contains 30 grams of protein from just seven ingredients, using naturally fermented, non-GMO yeast protein as its exclusive protein source, making PIILK distinct from other drinks. By eliminating emulsifiers, artificial sweeteners and flavors, and carrageenan, PIILK achieves a lighter texture and cleaner taste than competitors.
PIILK will launch as a direct-to-consumer product in the U.S. on the brand's website on March 21st, offering subscription and trial options and featuring Protein Chocolate and Café Latte as its first flavors.
As consumers continue to abandon overly formulated protein drinks, PIILK signals how minimal, clean-label alternatives are becoming the new standard in the functional beverage marketplace.
