Naomi completes week of community service

To follow up on a story posted Monday, Naomi Campbell has finished serving time doing community service work in Manhattan.

The Brit diva was assigned five days of service at the N.Y. Department of Sanitation after assaulting her maid, Ana Scolavino. Campbell threw her crystal-encrusted cell phone at Scolavino after discovering a pair of jeans missing, an act that sent the maid to hospital where her head was stitched up from the injury.

All dolled up and looking fabulous in a strapless dress Friday, Campbell stepped out of a garbage truck, one stiletto at a time and back into the luxury life she's used to leading. As she strutted her way past countless paparazzi, the temperamental supermodel slipped into a Rolls Royce.

She was no doubt ready fling off her combat boots and to get a little glitz back into her sumptuous life. After spending nearly a week in a shocking orange vest and stretch pants, Campbell wasted no time before getting glam in her usual fashionable attire.

So how did the pampered model fair without the usual opulence she is accustomed to? Quite well, according to members of the sanitation department. Hidden behind a heinous dust mask, her trademark plump lips were well hidden as she completed her chores. She managed to keep a pleasant demeanour as her manicured hands latched onto brooms and mops and even found their way inside several toilets.

Fuss free, she showed up daily at 8 a.m. to complete her cleaning rituals which kept her on her hands and knees until 4 p.m. Wonder if her little stint cleaning taught her to have a little more appreciation for maids and others responsible for cleaning. Only time will tell!
