Schiffer & Bolle for Salvatore Ferragamo

The worlds of high fashion and ballet dancing meet in the new Salvatore Ferragamo F/W 2008-09 campaign. The ad campaign features supermodel Claudia Schiffer alongside world renowned dancer Roberto Bolle.

The black and white campaign has a theme of an old Hollywood movie star meeting the superstar dancer backstage after a show.

Photographed by the ever ubiquitous Mario Testino at the Teatro San Carlo in Naples, Claudia embodies the persona of a glamorous movie star and looks uber chic in the retro outfits. Roberto looks at home under the spotlight in his dancing outfits. He does get to wear a sharp looking black suit from the new line in a couple of shots.

Roberto Bolle is an Italian ballet dancer who performed for the likes of Queen Elizabeth II, Pope John Paul II, and had an amazing solo in the 2006 Winter Olympic Games in Turin.
