Traditional Doll-Inspired Tonal Sneakers

ASICS' GEL-LYTE III OG Gets a Classic Red Tonal Update

ASICS launches a Classic Red colorway of the iconic GEL-LYTE III OG sneaker model with inspiration drawn from traditional Japanese Daruma Dolls. These dolls are a symbol of luck in Japanese culture and the new design honors that with a colorway that fuses premium materials.

This includes leather making up the red area, which is the most dominant detail at the upper. It is then accented with white leather materials with perforations to allow for breathability, following through at the toe box and the side paneling. More white details are added at the sole unit and the tongue lining to bring tonal contrast to the shoe. Additionally, there are patent black leather strips that makes up the branding to round it all out.
