Branded City Cleanups

For Each Product United by Blue Sells, a Pound of Trash is Removed

On top of producing eco-friendly fashion from recycled and repurposed materials, United by Blue makes another big commitment to the world—for each product that it sells, the brand removes a pound of trash from oceans and waterways through city cleanups. Since it launched in 2010, the brand has hosted and organized over 120 cleanups in 21 states, bringing together more than 4,000 volunteers to remove over 250,000 pounds of trash.

As a company with B Corporation certification, United by Blue has just been recognized on the non-profit B Lab's 'Best for the World' list for its ability to engage communities for the purposes of good. In a continual effort to increase environmental awareness across North America, United by Blue will be co-hosting a city cleanup in Toronto, Canada this spring.
