Legendary Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld has joined forces with Magnum Ice Cream in order to bring some media attention to this delicious dessert. A reported 10.5 tons of Belgian chocolate was at the designer’s disposal, as he created a unique chocolate hotel creation for an undisclosed location in Paris. The chocolate hotel creation features a model made of chocolate that is meant to mimic Lagerfeld’s favourite male muse- Baptiste Giabiconi.
Lagerfeld is notorious for his uninhibited sense of style and creativity, making him a logical choice on behalf of Magnum Ice Cream. With the help of chocolatier Patrick Roger, the chocolate hotel creation exudes flair and features a mixture of clean defined lines.
Three short films directed by Lagerfeld are scheduled to come out as part of the Magnum Ice Cream campaign. The first features Rachel Bilson and model Baptiste Giabiconi.
