Irish Stout Donuts

Aungier Danger Created a Chocolate Donut to Pair with a Pint of Guinness

In celebration of St. Patrick's Day this year, Aungier Danger, a bakery based in Dublin, Ireland teamed up with Guinness for the creation of a dark chocolate donut that complemened the unique flavors of the iconic stout. The dark cocoa donut was filled with Belgian chocolate mousse and topped with a decadent blackcurrant glaze to pair with the distinctive flavors of Guinness.

To draw even more attention to this collaborative effort, all those with names like Patricks, Patricias, Paddys or similar variants had the chance to enjoy a free donut for the holiday.

To enhance the enjoyment of consuming an alcoholic drink, many adults are taking care to make note of the food pairings that will bring out the best the flavors in their favorite beverages.
