Bean-to-Bar Chocolate Boutiques

Bean2Bar's Small-Scale Concept Shop Maximizes Interior Space

The Bean2Bar chocolate boutique in Salmiya, Kuwait is a small-scale concept space that takes up just over 355 square feet within the city. To make the most of available space, Studio Toggle created a dynamic design for the chocolatier that offers ample storage space and flexibility.

The design of the chocolate boutique boasts an arched waffle vault ceiling, with pockets that also serve as storage space near the floor and other easily accessible areas. As well as being a unique design detail, the dimensions of the cells that form the walls and ceiling were taken from the modular packaging unit used by the chocolatier. With this system in place, the chocolate shop is able to change out the colors and displays shown in the shop as often as desired.
