Wine-Paired Biscuit Sticks

Pocky's Newest Chocolate Biscuit Sticks Complement a Glass of Red Wine

As chocolate and red wine are often consumed alongside one another, Glico is introducing an all-new chocolate biscuit stick snack under its Pocky brand that is meant to be served with a bottle of red.

The 'Pocky Goddess Ruby' is a snack that's designed to enhance the wine-drinking experience, although the snack itself does not contain any alcohol. At its core, the biscuit snack is loaded with the flavors of cheddar cheese, black pepper and cloves. To counter these flavors, the outer bitter chocolate coating of the dipped biscuit stick is infused with three types of berry flavors.

Previously, Glico released a celebratory Pocky collection that was made with real champagne, as well as a vanilla biscuit stick flavor that was said to pair exceptionally well with a strawberry-flavored tea, plus Adult Amber Pocky to complement the flavor of whiskey.
