Chipotle Happier Hour is a new value-led strategy that's expected to launch soon from the fast-casual restaurant chain in a bid to help catch the attention of value-hungry consumers.
The promotional initiative will see the brand offering discounts for customers to patronize their nearest location during a specific time of day. The brand is also slated to launch a series of limited time items including a small bowl of grilled chicken and a high-protein cup for $3.95 and $3.80, respectively.
CEO Scott Boatwright spoke on the Chipotle Happier Hour in an interview with Yahoo! Finance saying, "We’re going to give it a shot and see what it looks like for us. We’re calling it Happier Hour, so think maybe a couple of tacos and a beverage sometime during the middle daypart … And we feel like it’s a compelling offer, and it creates value for our consumer."
