These Chika's Rice Crisps are HFSS-Compliant

These new Chika's Rice Crisps are being launched as part of the brand's initiative to shake up the snack market with some new offerings for Veganuary in the UK this year.

The snacks come in three flavors including Salt & Vinegar, BBQ and Sweet Chilli, which are all popped not fried and non-HFSS with less than 100-calories per serving. The snacks are being launched into Nisa, Co-op, CLF, Delicious Ideas, Epicurium, Cambridge Juice and DDC Foodservice starting in January 2023, and have a suggested price point of 79p for a 220-gram grab bag and £1.79 for an 80-gram bag.

Founder and Chief Executive Chika Russell spoke on the new Chika's Rice Crisps saying, "At Chika’s, we believe that good snacks shouldn’t come with a compromise…With our new Non-HFSS Rice Crisps, our team of flavour makers have worked hard to create a range of tasty, moreish popped snacks that are low in fat, and under 100 calories per potion."
