Roasted chickpea snack brand Biena is now launching a line of Baked Chickpea Puffs that are high in protein and lower in carbs as a better-for-you snack. The new chickpea snacks are being introduced in three satisfying flavors: Aged White Cheddar, Vegan Ranch and Blazin' Hot.
These clean-ingredient snack puffs are made with chickpeas and lentils and provide seven grams of plant-based protein per serving. Additionally, these snacks are formulated without rice and corn and are keto-friendly.
According to Biena Snacks founder and CEO Poorvi Patodia, "Taste is the real reason we created this line. I have two growing kids who love cheese puffs and I found that other options don't taste great or don't offer real nutrition."
