Benedetto Bufalino's Chicken Coop Car is a Strange Home for Fowls

This bizarre chicken coop car is a creation from French artist Benedetto Bufalino that turns an ordinary police vehicle into an unusual home for chickens.

The interior of ‘La Voiture de Police Poulailler’ (Police Car Coop) has been gutted and replaced with an oriented strand board floor for the chickens to stand on. The roof, trunk and one of the doors of the police car have been popped open and closed off with chicken wire to create more space for the chickens to roam inside the vehicle. The outside of the police car remains intact, which is part of what makes this chicken coop so bizarre.

The car is an interesting way to upcycle an old vehicle and make a truly unique and fully-functioning home to keep feathery fowls in.
