Those of you that love Alice in Wonderland (you know who you are) are going to fall bum over noggin for the Cheshire Cat Pocket Watch. The Cheshire Cat Pocket Watch is a conceptual timepiece submitted to the Tokyoflash Design blog by an American designer named Cory.
Arriving just in time to be a year late for the Alice in Wonderland movie, the Cheshire Cat Pocket Watch is designed to tell time like a typical pocket watch in that the numbers are arranged in a circular pattern along the outside of face. All normalcy ends there as the Cheshire Cat Pocket Watch tells time using the appearing image of the cat. Just like in the book and movie, the Cheshire Cat appears one piece at a time, with each piece representing five minute intervals of time.
That may sound ridiculous and counter-intuitive, but it actually isn't so hard to tell time on this watch after a little practice. The watch is currently a concept only (although Tokyoflash has been known to turn popular concept watches into semi-popular realities).
